Claire uses a Co-active coaching approach and believes that clients have the answers or they can find answers if they are asked the right questions. Through this approach, she addresses the Client’s whole life given that we often cannot compartmentalize the different aspects of our lives since they are all somehow interlinked. She believes that self-awareness is key for personal and professional growth and therefore helps her clients leverage on it as they work on their coaching goals.

She is currently part of a select team of Global coaches offering pro bono coaching to organizational leaders in the NGO and social entrepreneurship space under the auspices of the Ethical Coach Global initiative. I have worked with emerging leaders looking to adjust to new leadership roles with some having just completed leadership development programmes. On career coaching, my coachees  were exploring alternative career development avenues and some looking to ensure that they enroll on appropriate academic programmes  for their career aspirations. I have also worked with middle managers towards navigating current organisational culture in order to improve team cohesion and effectiveness.

During my 25-year corporate career, I held various positions with organizations in financial services, international development, mining, packaging and leadership development sectors e.g. INDEBANK, ECOBANK, GIZ (Malawi); Anglo American Corporation, Kohler Flexible Packaging (South Africa); CDI Coaching Group (Kenya). I excelled at delivering high-value solutions in financial management, human resources, operations and leadership development. I have a solid track record in designing and delivering leadership development and coach-training programs. My corporate background is augmented by an international exposure that serves me well in my current roles.
